Everclear at Prince Bandroom
This year has been pretty ordinary as far as shows, really.
I don’t appear to have written about it, but in March we saw Green Day, and then we’ve had a few smaller shows here and there, which were all pretty good, but nowhere near as many as we’d liked. So when Sabriena found tickets for Everclear, we thought “why not”.
Despite the fact you enter the band room through what appears to be a loading dock for the larger hotel, the show actually ruled. The opener was a band called “Dose” whom we’d never heard of, they weren’t really our thing but weren’t objectionable, and we didn’t know any of the songs. The venue was a comfortable temperature, the accoustics were pretty great from where we were standing, and we were a mere 600M walk from the motel we booked to sleep in, because we’ve made the mistake a few times of driving back to Horsham on the same night and getting in at 3am or later.
They’re supposed to be coming out in two years for another anniversary show, which we’ll definitely try catch.
