Book Choices

Lately we’ve been letting Duncan pick out his reading books, and while he commits the cardinal sin of only looking at the cover before he decides if he wants it or not, for the most part he’s pretty good. When I went to read him a book tonight and the night before however, I noticed that two of the books he’d picked out were World War II books. The second one in particular, “Along the road to Gundagai” was particularly confronting with the illustrations.

I don’t really have a problem with exposing Duncan to confronting imagery, but I don’t think bed time is the place for that.
