I have a love/hate relationship with my office chair. Back when all I did on my PC was play video games all day (it was a curse, really) I decided that my best angle of attack would be a nice comfy lazy-boy style armchair.
And it was great. In the winter I could throw a blanket over me and the whole mess would keep me reasonably warm. Apart from having my monitor right at the front side of my desk (most folks think it weird), everything worked really well for the most part.
Since I started doing more stuff on the PC that didn’t involve relaxing back with a controller, we decided to get a chair. I have a neato-elito high back office chair that despite being quite cheap is actually really comfortable… except the fact that the bottom of it’s broken. Perhaps I weigh too much for it, and periodically I get off balance and start to topple over, much to Sabriena’s delight.
One day, Sabrienix is going to make us enough money to get completely brand new office furniture, and it’s going to be bliss. My chair’s banged up, my desk is banged up (it’s nearly 6 years old and came all the way with us from California)… about the only thing that’s not banged up is the heavy metal filing cabinet I bash my freakin’ elbow on 8 times a day.
