So a little while ago my wife got herself a Blackberry Pearl, because she works so hard and deserves a toy. I started out not really jealous at all, I kinda wanted one before she bought one but keeping my current number (because it’s plastered all over Sabrienix) was more important and I didn’t feel like signing another contract.
I’m glad I didn’t get the one she got, because it doesn’t have a full QWERTY keyboard and that’s a bit of a show-stopper for me – using SSH is a convoluted mess on it and the only time I’d need to do that is in an emergency. I don’t really want to try to figure out how to type “ps ax” when there’s two or three characters to a key, thank you very much.
Recently though, I’ve grown increasingly envious. I want one, and I want one with a full QWERTY keyboard – we just can’t afford one. Well there’s a guy selling a near-new Curve on Craig’s list… so I’m wondering how silly of an idea it would be to buy one like that. I was going to call up Verizon and ask them if any billing issues would follow the phone instead of the owner, but how truthful will their answer be if they’re going to try to get me to lengthen our contract.
All I want it for is SSH + Email, my current phone is perfectly fine as a phone and for texting (though I’ve always hated texting). I want to be able to delete my penis enlargement emails, liporexall reviews as well as check on my web servers while driving please.
