This is probably all over the place already, but Firefox 3.5 is released. I don’t know about you, but I found version 3.0 to be a complete pile of shit. It was slow, it was clunky and it just generally made me hate Mozilla.
You see – and I’ve ranted about this before – when Firefox first came about it was supposed to be light and fast and “the browser, reloaded”. Steadily, it’s edged away from that goal – and basically Firefox 3.0 left that friggin’ goal in the dust.
3.5 is a step in the right direction, it seems snappier for me and most folks on forums seem to agree with me. If you’re still using 2.x, I’d stay where you are right now – but if you’re using 3.0 I totally recommend giving 3.5 a shot.
