454Chevy.com - almost over before it starts.

Our truck's front suspension's been acting up, took it in to have a quote on repairing it and they want about $800 to replace all four ball joints. The truck's not really worth that, but I have looked into it and I'm reasonably certain it's something I can do myself.

So for a while we were thinking about replacing it urgently, but we've decided just to go ahead and put the work in, and save up for a better vehicle that's light on gas. Which is good because my new truck website would kinda suck if I didn't have a 454 Chevy to write about. :-D

Hey,

Good comments. It must suck to buy a whole new front suspension. Make sure to check out my website at http://www.viennaaustria.blogspot.com
hi there,

it basically does have all new front suspension/steering now - i'd done the idler arm and tie-rods already and the ball joints were next up. i just got done doing them (full writeup at 454chevy.com), but i lack brake fluid so i haven't been out for a test drive.

hoping against hope that the majority of the problems are solved. :-D
hi :-D

i'm almost obsessive-compulsive when it comes to dropping. the 27 out of 30 might be because i haven't had entrecard 30 days. :-(

thanks for stopping by. :-D
