... and back quite a bit lately, to try and get motivated to improve our health, and this is the first time in a while I've remembered to bring the camera. We took some photos of Ruby frolicking around at the park by the river.

The TF2 Experiment!
We've spent the TF2 free weekend experimenting with Source Dedicated Server, and found it to run absolutely fantastic under FreeBSD. My home bandwidth isn't so shit hot under high load, so snorlax isn't really suitable for hosting a game bigger than about 3v3. So I decided to install srcds on dugtrio, and the results were actually surprising.

Bathroom's shaping up!
We spent another $300-ish at Lowes, and got some more done on the bathroom, and it's actually starting to look like a real bathroom now! We got the flooring in and completed, the toilet's back on and doesn't leak, and the new shower faucet's installed (so we can actually shut it off now).
It looks really good if you look at the floor, but we still need to frame in the faux wall behind the toilet, sheetrock, put in a shower surround and then it should be all finished. Oh and I have a ventilation fan to take care of the steam, but I haven't put it in yet.
